Did you know that as of 14th Jan 2020, Microsoft are no longer releasing any security updates for Windows 7, Server 2008 and SBS 2011 systems?

What does this mean?

If you are still using any of these systems then you will be exposed to new vulnerabilities that may be exploited in the coming months or years (and there are usually a lot).

What should I do?

Check for any of the affected systems by doing a quick review of your IT estate. The most popular platform to replace aging systems is unquestionably a cloud based platform.

What shouldn’t I do?

Nothing. It’s false economy not to update or upgrade. When the cost of downtime all added up it’s usually much more expensive than being proactive and keeping on top of it all in the first place.

What options are available to me?

Technology and computing is vast. Depending on your business type, the systems running and how you use them will naturally present a couple of options for the business.
